It was fun to read the Mustang fanboys’ howls of protest at the results, but the numbers didn’t lie. On the track and on the road the Camaro was clearly superior to the Mustang in terms of performance. At my price range sat the newly remodeled Mustang GT and the Camaro SS with the 1LE track package. It’s just a matter of ergonomics.Ī slight digression: in late 2014 I was looking for a new car. It’s barely in my Top 10 for favorites to fly, but that’s because I found out that I really don’t like the Comanche that much.
